DISCOVERY AND MOBILISATION

Developing a practical approach to NHS App adoption

Asked to lead NHS App adoption work, I independently engaged hospital programme contacts and the ICB primary care lead to understand available services, reporting and access requirements. I focused the core material on primary care benefits that patients could use consistently.

My contribution

I developed an engagement format combining health talks, community support and app assistance, coordinating practice and PCN colleagues, PPG members, volunteers and venue representatives. Clinical provision and patient selection remained with the practice and Clinical Director.

What followed

Outputs include reviewed presentation material, visual patient instructions, volunteer guidance, venue planning and feedback arrangements. The event remained in preparation, with adoption and usage outcomes still to be assessed.
