A repeatedly failing data pipeline supported approximately £280m in annual revenue during a company-wide transformation. As platform owner and SAP data contact, I was responsible for restoring reporting while my team maintained manual corrections.

My contribution
After discovering that the service had moved to GCP with no clear route to a fix, I brought IT, cloud, legacy-data and development partners together. I secured funding and project-managed the recovery myself, validating the replacement feed and coordinating cutover across GCP, the file-transfer service, SAP, developers and support.
What followed
The replacement restored visibility of approximately £60m in previously unreported order value, introduced two-hourly delivery and gave the team documented recovery controls.
